Shipping policy

The Art of the Wait Because every bar of Trace soap is handcrafted, hand-cut, and packaged in small batches, please allow 1–3 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment. Once your order has been carefully tucked into its box and handed to the carrier, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Flat-Rate Shipping To keep things simple, we offer a $7 flat-rate shipping fee on all orders within the United States. Whether you are ordering a single bar for yourself or a curated gift set for a friend, the shipping cost remains the same.

Shipping Methods & Delivery We primarily ship via USPS or UPS depending on the weight and destination of your package. While most orders arrive within 3–7 business days after shipping, please note that delivery times are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed.

Custom Orders As a reminder, custom orders require an 8-week lead time. This includes the time needed for formulation, pouring, and the essential 4–6 week cure time that ensures your soap is of the highest quality. Custom orders will ship immediately following the completion of the curing process.

Lost or Damaged Packages Once a package leaves our Nixa, Missouri studio and is scanned by the carrier, the "trace" of its journey is in their hands. We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered but not received, or for delays caused by the carrier. However, if your items arrive damaged due to shipping, please contact us at megan@traceofyou.com within 48 hours so we can assist you.
